New York State Code Changes

New York State Adopts ANSI/APSP-7
New York State as recently revised Section 3109.6 Swimming Pool Entrapment Protection. Suction outlets shall be designed and installed in accordance with ANSI/APSP-7. New Residential pools may no longer require the installation of an approved SVRS. Multiple main drains (suction outlets) must be installed at least 3 feet apart, center to center.

Many other states may have also revised the building code. Please check with your local building department about the requirements in your area to confirm.
